You know one thing I love about this country? Culture. It’s everywhere, and it’s supported. And because this is a small country, you can actually get really great, Scotland-wide cultural events like this one: Book Week Scotland. A week-long celebration of reading and literature taking place all across the country. There will be author readings, a read-in at the National Museum of Scotland, and plenty of other events for all ages. It’s a lit lover’s dream.
And look! It comes with a fun video!
So, where will you go?

There are definitely lots of events for kids! You can find a full listing here: http://scottishbooktrust.com/reading/bws/events and sort the events by your local authority for easier searching.

I suppose if you’re going to have something as cultured as a national book week, you better have some well-done advertisements to promote it, right?
